What this website records, what it does not, and how enquiries sent to the studio are handled.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to draignet.uk, operated by DraigNET Studios, an independent game studio based in the United Kingdom. It explains what information is collected when this website is used, why it is collected, and how long it is kept.

2. Information collected

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising networks, or third-party analytics scripts. Nothing on it profiles visitors.

  • Nothing is collected by this website. There are no forms, no accounts, and no submissions of any kind. Contact happens by email, outside this site.
  • Server logs. The web server records standard request information — IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser user agent — for security and diagnostics.
  • Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means the browser makes a request to Google’s servers when a page loads.
  • Trailer video. The trailer on the Nightmist Legacy page is hosted on YouTube, but nothing is requested from YouTube unless the play button is pressed — the page shows a still image until then. Once play is pressed the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, and Google’s own privacy policy applies to that playback.

3. How information is used

Email sent to the studio is used solely to respond to that enquiry. Addresses are not added to any mailing list, sold, or shared with third parties for marketing. Server logs are used only to keep the site running and to investigate abuse or faults.

4. Retention

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they remain relevant to the conversation and are deleted once they no longer serve a purpose. Server logs are rotated automatically and retained for a short period only.

5. Rights under UK GDPR

Anyone who has contacted the studio may request a copy of the information held about them, request its correction, or request its deletion. Requests are handled by email and are actioned without unnecessary delay.

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
